Spring has sprung! Hard to believe that this is the first day of April. Spring break will be upon us next week and when everyone returns there will only be a little less than 2 months left of school.
There has been so much going on at Meriwether Lewis. Field trips, author visits, writing, cell projects, simple machine creations, math game creations, and much, much, more. It seems that the energy level also peaks a little more this time of the year.
Recently, during our faculty meetings, we had teachers present on some of the things that they have been doing in and out of the classroom that benefits students. We had some teachers share ideas that they learned at conferences and others shared current practices that they are using. It was great to be a part of the audience in these sessions and it allowed for colleagues to share their craft. I know your children get this benefit from their teachers each day.
As we come back from the break and head into the final quarter, please remember to try to keep your children on a schedule that allows for optimal sleep and balance. Enjoy the Spring Break!
Warmest Regards,
Brandi Robertson
