A little about me:
I grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and attended public schools there K-12. After graduating from Kutztown University with a degree in Elementary Education, I moved down to Charlottesville and accepted my first teaching position. For five years I taught 5th grade in Madison County. From there I worked at Venable Elementary School in Charlottesville as an Assistant Principal and then 4th grade teacher. During that time I went to The University of Virginia and obtained my Masters Degree in K-12 Administration and Supervision. In 2008, I started working at Meriwether Lewis Elementary School as the Assistant Principal. I have enjoyed being a part of this community.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Russell, and we have one furbaby dog, Ella. I love anything Disney and can't wait to go to Walt Disney
World again with my mom.
In our spare time, my husband and I love UVA sporting events (GO HOOS!), music concerts, and spending time with our friends and family.
The most exciting thing that my husband and I did this past summer was that we went out to Omaha to watch UVA play (and win) in the College World Series. We had a blast!
